The Babson PE/VC Club in collaboration with Cutler Centre welcomes two HarbourVest Managing Directors both Babson MBAs back to campus for a conversation about where the economy is heading and how private equity is responding.

The fireside will cover the macroeconomic picture and how private markets firms are navigating a higher-rate environment, the energy transition, and the wave of capital moving into artificial intelligence. Expect a candid discussion of how a global private markets platform actually makes decisions: where capital is going, what is getting repriced, and what the last few years have changed about the way the industry underwrites risk.

President Stephen Spinelli will open the event and introduce both speakers. He taught Brett and Scott during their time as MBA students at Babson.

The evening is open to graduate and undergraduate students, faculty, and alumni. A reception with the speakers and the HarbourVest team follows the program.
