Join Prof. Tina Opie, Carla Curiel and special speaker Angelica Fuentes for an exclusive Women's MBA Luncheon. We'll have the opportunity to hear Angelica's story with our fellow MBA students (both cohorts).
Angelica Fuentes is a Mexican American businesswoman, impact investor, and advocate for gender equality. She was appointed CEO of Grupo Imperial at age 29, later leading Grupo Omnilife-Angelissima-Chivas from 2007 to 2015 and building it into one of Mexico's top corporations. She has since founded several ventures rooted in empowerment: Muvop, a microfinance and financial education platform, Mission Moms, supporting working mothers across the US and Latin America, and NOWFUL, a wellness experience focused on recovery and intentional living.
Her advocacy for women has spanned global institutions including the World Economic Forum's Gender Parity Programme, UN Women, and the Smithsonian's National American Latino Museum board. Her work has earned recognition including UN Women's WEP CEO Leadership Award, the Latin Woman Empowerment Award, and Mercado Global's 2026 Financial Empowerment Award.
