It’s one of the most common questions you’ll encounter in networking conversations and interviews. How do you answer it in a way that makes a strong first impression?
Ace Your Intro is an interactive practice and coaching experience designed to help new graduate students develop a confident response to “Tell me about yourself,” strengthen their professional introduction, and practice their pitch for future networking and interview conversations.
During the event, you will attend a brief preparation session followed by three 1:1 conversations with Pitch Coaches (alumni and friends of Babson). You'll receive personalized, real-time feedback on your professional introduction, first impression, and delivery, with opportunities to refine your pitch and practice again. Then, put your strengthened professional introduction into practice at the Fall Career Fair in October.
***Limited spots are available. Please register only if you can commit to completing the required preparation and attending your assigned group’s prep session and pitch practice on September 30 between 4:30–6:30 PM. By registering and not attending, you will take a spot away from another student who would like to participate.***
Prepare: Before the Event
By registering for Ace Your Intro, you are committing to:
Watch two short preparation videos (approximately 5 minutes each).
Prepare a draft of your professional introduction.
Complete the required attendance confirmation through Microsoft Forms.
Attend both portions of your assigned session (prep and pitch coach sessions).
Your introduction does not need to be perfect! The goal is to arrive with a draft that you can practice and refine during the event.

You will:
Attend a 30-minute student preparation session.
